Once a week I have one of my boys go outside and clean the trashcan. It keeps it from getting "icky" and keeps them learning about cleanliness and the importance of it. So, when I sent Mackenzie out, he seemed to be taking a bit longer than usual.

This is why- he dumps in a little bleach and a little dishsoap and runs the hose until the trashcan is clean.

I had no idea he was so grossed out that he didnt want to touch it- I even have gloves but he wants no part of it. funny thing is, when he does this it cleans it better than any other method.

sounds wierd,but it really does work for me.
