VGNO

HAPPY VGNO EVERYONE!
make sure you go to Anns blog for hopping fun!
Its always a great time on Friday Night.

I am really hoping that today is the beginning of a fabulous ride for many of you!

Last week I shared with you that I was starting a womens group- we are calling it
The
Inner Circle.

I hope it becomes important enough to someone to make a difference in their life. I am also hoping to blog about it some too, yet keep to the confidentiality that is expected with an inner circle of friends and mentors.

I SOOOO need a GNO...Im not sure when I will ever get another one. School is TOUGH and my schedule -like many of you- is HecTiC....:)

I am really excited about this weeks VGNO because I am trying to get the word out about a few things that are important to me...

First, take a look at this BEAUTIFUL CREATION..

It has been created by my friend Rita Riedel....and w
e are
RAFFLING IT OFF!
For tickets..they are $1 for one or $5 for 6
please leave me a comment and I will get you tickets.
The goal is to raise $3000
if there is a big enough response we will set up a paypal account for this.

Tickets are available NOW, and we are going to use the m
oney to rebuild
Vals Orphange...

in Haiti,
where my friends Doug and Amy min
ister.

(Rita is Amy's mom, also a missionary there with her hubby Jeff)

Rita is the cheesy one on the left, and Jeff is the cheesy one on the right...:)

Quietly behind the scenes, missionary groups all across our country are preparing to go back to Haiti to begin rebuilding the buildings and lives of both Haitian and missionary people. There are many opportunities to help, including the Red Cross, and missionary groups . I am choosing to support a local missionary group, whose work has far exceeded what anyone ever expected in this small island nation. In Haiti there were already precarious living conditions, sparse food and drinking water pre- earthquake. The devastation left behind after the earthquake has broken the hearts and bodies of many, but somehow has strengthened the resolve of them all.
Our hope is to have enough money for one project at a time- this time it is for Vals Orphanage, to rebuild and provide a safe place for the orphans to live.Jeff and Rita have been committed to the people of Gressier for quite sometime, working in Christianville and meeting more needs than you and I could possibly imagine. They are one part of a very big puzzle, and I am honored to have them as the focus of my post today. There will be more to come from my heart on this issue, right now I just want to help get to the $3000.
Please feel free to re post this, or link to it in your posts...
